A pair of early 20th century French 950 standard silver vases, Paris circa 1900 by Boin Taburet
Each of tapering circular form with waisted necks. The centre with cast and applied pendant swags, Gilt interior. Each fully marked, makers mark registered c.1901, stamped Boin Tarbuet and 46490. (2)

Emile Taburet, jeweler, exhibited in 1880 at the exhibition of UCAD. He associated himself with his son-in-law, Georges Boin antiquaire, under the name "Boin-Taburet" around 1880. Together, they exhibited at the World Fair in Paris in 1889. In 1900, Georges Boin is associated with the goldsmith Henry, under the name "Boin and Henry Goldsmiths". In 1906, at the International Exhibition of Milan, the house appears under the name "Henry Brothers and Co.", 3 rue Pasquier in Paris. In 1936, the house becomes "Henry and Son".
