WOOLNER, Thomas (1825-92).  Silenus. London: Macmillan, 1884. 8vo. Half title (some variable light spotting). Original green pictorial cloth gilt. FIRST EDITION, PRESENTATION COPY, with a one-page autograph letter tipped onto the half title stating, "Dec 2. '89. Dear Miss Durham, I am very pleased that I can send you the enclosed. Truly yours, Thomas Woolner." Thomas Woolner was a sculptor and poet and one of the founder members of the Pre-Raphaelite Brotherhood. With 6 other books including the same author's My Beautiful Lady (London, 1863, inscribed by John Seddon) and [John Seddon's]  Memoir and Letters of the late Thomas Seddon, Artist. By His Brother (London, 1858). (7)
