A late 19th / early 20th century Japanese silver bowl, Yokohama circa 1900
Meiji period, of shaped oval form with a scalloped rim. The body with embossed decoration in iris pattern and wooden fencing, the front with an embossed scene of a gate house with thatched roof and sides. Marked underneath with jungin mark only.
