A Louis XV late 18th century French provincial silver sugar sifter, Brest 1773 by Guillaume - Marie Le Stum (b.1727, master 1756, ceases 1778)

King’s Hourglass pattern, double struck, virginal. The circular bowl with ornate pierced decoration of foliate forms. Fully marked to stem with charge and discharge mark for Rennes.

Length – 20.6 cm / 8.1 inches

Weight – 81 grams / 2.6 ozt
