Two visitor books from the Governesses' Benevolent Institution, each signed to the front page by Queen Elizabeth, the Queen Mother and featuring signatures by other visitors, including signatures by Lord Harris, Edward John Spencer, 8th Earl Spencer ('Althorp') and Robert Gascoyne-Cecil, 5th Marquess of Salisbury, a.e.g., softcover, blue goatskin with lettering to front cover, surface marks, creases and wear especially to spine and extremities, 4to, 1955 and 1967; also including an album with black and white photographs of the Queen Mother at the opening of Queen Mary House in November 1967, one showing her while signing the 1967 visitor book.
