A SILVER-INLAID PUSH DAGGER (KATAR)
India, late 19th century
With a tapering double-edged steel blade with a reinforced tip, a thick medial ridge flanked by two shallow ridges to each side, on the forte a raised cusped cartouche with rosettes, the steel handle inlaid with silver chevron bands, mounted on a metal stand, 38.5cm long excluding the stand.
