A late 19th century / early 20th century Japanese silver tea caddy, Yokohama circa 1900
Meiji period. Of ovoid with a domed pull off lid, with an internal pull-out seal. The body with embossed decoration of iris pattern against a spot hammered ground. Marked underneath with Jungin mark.
