Of conical form with a short, cylindrical foot, probably later-enamelled with a continuous scene depicting a pair of Mandarin ducks floating in a lotus pond as a pair of cranes fly on overhead, the well of the bowl decorated with lotus flowers emerging from the murky water, all on a faux-bois ground, underglaze-blue six-character Yongzheng mark to base,
