South Eastern United States, believed extinct since 1944, in a display box, of Natural History interest,

the feather 55mm long

Not seen since 1944 when its last known habitat, owned by the Singer Sewing Company, was logged in northeastern Louisiana.

Provenance: from the collection of celebrated taxidermist Barry Williams.
