Opaque pigments heightened with gold on paper, the vertical composition featuring the most renowned Hindu lovers, Lord Krishna and Radha, standing on two lotus pedestals, Radha offering paan or plain betel leaves to her beloved, Krishna looking at his lover and playing his flute, a symbol of his Ras Lila, both characters wearing several strands of pearl necklaces, floral garlands, sumptuous jewellery and clothes, a cow accompanying them to the right, the scene set before a lotus pond, within pink and green borders, 33.4cm x 23cm.
