Anno Dom. 1591, with engraved map of the ‘Holie Land’ verso p.488, bound with ‘The Whole Booke of Psalmes, collected into English by Thomas Sternhold, A-S5, printed title-page with ornamental border, John Wolfe, for the Assigns of Richard Day, 1586, contemporary blind-stamped calf with metal ornament, lacking clasps, boards detached, previously, rebacked (with that spine now perished), contemporary annotations to upper board and front endpaper (lacking rear end-paper), contemporary annotations scattered throughout, armorial book-plate of Thomas Tyndall, a some minor tears and holes to a few pages, (290 x 200mm.), sm. folio, 1592, 1591 & 1586

***Thomas Tyndall (1723-94) a Bristol merchant and banker with slave trade connections. Succeeded his father as a partner in the Old Bank in Bristol. His uncle William Tyndal was a slave factor in Jamaica.
