A PAIR OF CHINESE CLOISONNÉ 'DUCK' INCENSE BURNERS AND COVERS.

Qing Dynasty.

Each standing on robust feet, looking forward, with a smoke aperture through the beak and a cover fastened to the back with a chain, decorated in colourful enamels with mythical creatures, scrolls and stylised wing feathers, raised on wood stands, 26.5cm long. (4)

Provenance: from the collection of Nigel Hammond (1926 - 2003), thence by descent to the present owners.
