A LATE 19TH CENTURY VICTORIAN ENGLISH GOTHIC REVIVAL BLACK BELGIAN MARBLE MANTLE CLOCK by William Gabriel of 24 Bishopsgate & 28 Gracechurch Street, London, the square case of architectural form with a diamond based tower top with masonry effect and sloping roof topped with flare finial, the body with black patinated bronze gallery, four thistle squadrels and repeating circular border, the base with geometirc frieze on four bracket feet, the glazed black marble dial with central black patinated bronze roundel and incised gilt Arabic numerals, signed 'W. Gabriel, London & Paris', the twin train French movement striking the full and half hours on two blued steel gongs, signed A.G. Mougin and numbered '2563', with pendulum also stamped '2563', 61.5cm high, 28cm wide, 21cm deep
