A ROMAN GREEN GLASS SPRINKLER FLASK Circa 3rd Century A.D. The body with a swirled ridged surface, standing on a flat base, with a short tubular neck surmounted by a wide circular mouth, two applied handles are joined at the mouth and shoulder of the vessel, 11cm high. Published: F. Siltine, Histoire du Verre: L'Antiquité, Paris, 2005, p. 84. Provenance: Collection of M. & Mme. Nobili, Paris, acquired prior to 1985.
