A monumental early to mid- 20th century Anglo-Indian unmarked silver water ewer (surai), Delhi circa 1940
Raj period, the globular body upon a domed foot with tall cylindrical neck and everted rim, with an applied hollow crook from handle. The body with chased decoration of vignettes of foliate scrolls reserved with further foliage, the top section with two vacant circular cartouches.
