A late 19th century continental unmarked silver vase, probably French circa 1880

Of ovoid form upon a spreading circular foot and an everted shaped rim. The body with embossed grotesque mask linked by pendant swags, above punch work arabesques and half-fluting with flat chasing. The base with embossed decoration in the renaissance style. The neck with embossed caryatid angels between urns of fruit.

Height – 27.8 cm / 10.95 inches

Weight – 670 grams / 21.54 ozt
