AFTER JEAN GOUJON (FRENCH, 1510-1566): A FINE PAIR OF MID 19TH CENTURY BRONZE FIGURES OF RIVER NYMPHS, the Nereids reclining and each leaning on an upturned urn issuing water, the first classical maiden holding a paddle and laying on a bed of reeds, with grapes, vines, fruit and wheat ears around her, possibly representing Autumn, wearing a foliate headdress, the second with a military helmet beside her, the urn she rests on cast in relief with a shield, one signed 'Jean Goujon', dark brown patination with golden high points,
