Opaque pigments on cotton, the vertical composition featuring several chronological narrative bands of Krishna and a few lota-carrying gopis, the benevolent visage of the god in the sun observing the scene of Krishna leaving the temple, the gopis encountering saluting warriors, Krishna in promenade with the gopis in arched rows of holy trees, ashoka and neem trees among them, alive with birds in a verdant landscape with peacocks and monkeys, behind a lilypond, in a floral border, with wooden hanging bar slide, 190cm x 127cm.
