A MEISSEN HAUSMALER SAUCER, circa 1740, decorated in the workshop of Franz Ferdinand Meyer of Pressnitz with a village scene depicting peasant figures and hounds, buildings in the distance, within an elaborate gilt quatrelobe Laub- und Bandelwerk cartouche, with a gilt-line rim, the underside moulded with three sprigs of prunus branches picked out in enamel colours, 13.3cm diameter, crossed swords mark in underglaze-blue PROVENANCE: Private German collection.
