A collection of 58 volumes, the majority English Literature, including:

An American [Anon.], The Rainbow; or, Literary Miscellany of Entertainment and Instruction. Illustrated with Sixteen Beautiful Steel Engravings, First Edition, ornately gilt decorated red cloth binding, “E. Smith Binder” incorporated into ruled border on boards, splits on joints and slight loss at head and foot of spine, Thomas Holmes, 1834;

Rogers (Samuel) Italy. A Poem, First Edition, full tree calf by J. Mackenzie, gilt monogram to front board, some rubbing, T. Cadell, 1830;

Gray (Thomas) Poems and Letters, second edition, 4 mounted photographs, full gilt-tooled calf by Riviere in the usual Eton College binding, Chiswick Press for Eton College, 1879;

Prévost (Antoine François) Histoire de Manon Lescaut et du Chevalier des Grieux, First Edition, full morocco binding by John Bumpus, front panel and spine with ornate gilt tooling, spine with 5 raised bands, some splitting to joints, Libraire Charles Tallandier, Paris, 1898;

With others similar, the majority in leather bindings, mixed condition with spotting or inscriptions, v.s. (58)
