Opaque pigments heightened with gold and silver on indigo-dyed cotton ground, the horizontal composition symmetrically painted and printed with Lord Krishna playing the flute, flanked by three gopis on each side, the scene set against a silver star-sprayed dark sky, a frieze of stylised clouds at the top and a lake of flowering waterlilies in the front, the stylised border highlighted with silver polka dots, lined with joined madder red cotton, 121cm x 184cm.
