A late 19th century Victorian silver plated Britannia metal (EPBM) novelty ink stand, Sheffield circa 1886 by James Deakin and Sons in the Egyptian taste, the oblong stand raised on four ball feet. The centre with a detachable figure of a camel, flanked by two hobnail cut clear glass inkwells. The base engraved with fearns and a presentation inscription "Presented to the Rev W. Hurst by some of the parishioners of coton on his leaving Dec 14 1886. Length - 24 cm
