A large late 19th century Anglo – Indian unmarked silver bowl, Lucknow circa 1890
Raj period. Of rounded circular form with a scalloped pierced rim upon a domed pierced pedestal foot. The body with embossed decoration in Chinese Export pattern, depicting various figural scenes drawn from Canton silver, the front with a vacant shield shape cartouche. The upper rim with pierced decoration of foliage, the foot rim pierced similarly.
