A ROMAN MARBLE TORSO FRAGMENT OF ACHILLES Circa 1st - 2nd Century A.D. The nude fragment depicts his back, wearing a baldrick, his body slightly twisted, the musculature of his back and his buttocks clearly defined, his left arm bent at the elbow with heavy folds of drapery covering his forearm, 32.5cm high.  Provenance: Collection of Leif Hasle (1933 - 2016) Denmark.
