A SELECTION OF PORTRAITS OF MEN c.1840-50s, Mostly sixth or ninth Plate examples, including a sixth plate of a seated aristocratic gentleman with white trousers, in a side hinged unmarked case, two early portraits of gentleman, both with plain oval aperture brass matts, a ninth and a sixteenth plate example, the former with Wharton style, push button case, the latter with significant spotting to plate surface, a later oversized hand coloured ninth plate portrait, some tarnishing and spotting to plates present, some cleaned and resealed
