AN EGYPTIAN BRONZE FIGURE OF STRIDING SEKHMET Late Period, Circa 664 - 332 B.C. On an integral rectangular base, the lion-headed goddess is depicted with her left leg advanced, her left arm outstretched and her right arm by her side, she wears a tight-fitting tunic, a tripartite wig and a sun disc headdress with a frontal uraeus, 23cm high. Provenance: Private collection France; Private collection of a lady, Rome, acquired prior to 2007.
