An interesting photograph album containing 92 silver gelatin snapshot prints depicting scenes a British tour through northern India and into Kashmir. Subjects include views of Nishat Bagh, Shalimar Bagh, Chasmashahi, the Drill School at Srinagar, travels on the Sindh Valley Road, an interesting snapshot of papier machier artists at a Kashmir arts & crafts exhibition, Sonamarg Glacier, Hari Parbat, Srinagar City, as well as views of Delhi, Agra and the Taj Mahal, Nainital, and an panoramic view of the Himalyas from Nainital with corresponding elevation annotations. Image sizes ranging from 60 x 85mm to 70 x 155mm (panorama), mounted to page recto and verso in corners or affixed with glue, each with corresponding manuscript caption, album overall measuring 147 x 215mm.
