A late 19th century Anglo – Indian silver mug, Cutch, Bhuj, circa 1880 by Oomersi Mawji (active 1860-90)
Raj period, of baluster form upon a stepped circular foot, with an applied C scroll handle with acanthus capping. The body with profusely chased decoration of foliate scrolls between stylised leaf borders, a vacant shield shape cartouche to front. Marked underneath with makers mark OM only.
