A MEISSEN SAUCER, circa 1735, painted with a European landscape scene of figures and hounds walking through parkland, reserved within a gilt quatrelobe cartouche embellished with purple and iron-red scrollwork, the rim with a formal gilt diaper and foliate border, three sprays of indianische Blumen to the underside, 14.4cm diameter, crossed swords mark in underglaze-blue and gold letter M., impressed Dreher's mark of o inside the footrim for Johann Casper Haase PROVENANCE: Private German collection.
