A GREEK CORE-FORMED AMPHORISKOS Eastern Mediterranean, Circa 4th - 3rd Century B.C. The piriform vessel with a long slender neck, with two small applied handles surmounted by the narrow rim, the vessel decorated with applied white and yellow trail in zig-zag and spiral patterns, 16cm high. Published: F. Siltine, Histoire du Verre: L'Antiquité, Paris, 2005, p. 46. Provenance: Collection of M. & Mme. Nobili, Paris, acquired prior to 1985.
