Opaque pigments heightened with gold on paper, the vertical composition depicting a courtly lady smoking a huqqa on a light pink summer floor spread, standing in front of her a female attendant bearing a tray with a small drinking cup, both female characters heavily bejewelled with several strands of pearls, earrings and gold bangles indicating the high status of their owners, 18cm x 17.5cm.
