An early 20th century Austrian 800 standard silver and enamel cigarette case, Vienna circa 1910 by Kurzer & Wolf (active 1904-24)
Of rectangular form with rounded corners. The front with a painted enamel scene of a capercaillie. Marked to interior, stamped 1373.

Founded by Jakob Hersch Kurzer (Koritzer) in 1894. In 1904 Gustav Wolf joined and the company was renamed Kurzer & Wolf. Listed in the directories until 1924
