A late 19th / early 20th century Burmese unmarked silver beaker, Upper Burma circa 1900

Of tapering cylindrical form with a fold over rim. The body with embossed decoration of figures of in traditional, all interspersed with foliate scrolls against a ring punched ground with chased leaves, the front with a vacant oblong cartouche supported by a female figure below. Otherwise with bands of chased foliate scrolls and stylised forms.

Height – 13.2 cm / 5.2 inches

Weight – 306 grams / 9.84 ozt
