A GEORGE I WALNUT OPEN ARMCHAIR, EARLY 18TH CENTURY, with carved scallop shell to the top rail, supported by scrolling sides, centred by a vase shape splat with scrolled detail, the shepherd's crook arms above a drop in needlework seat with foliate designs, a carved scallop to the apron, raised on scallop shell carved cabriole legs, with lion paw feet.

101cm high x 69cm wide x 62cm deep
