A mid-19th century German silver christening mug, Hamburg circa 1850 by Brahmfeld & Gutruf (est. 1842)
Of cylindrical form upon a spreading circular foot with a turned over rim, with an applied double C scroll handle. The front engraved with a vacant cartouche of foliate scrolls and leaves. Marked underneath with town mark and makers mark B&G.
