A MEISSEN TEABOWL, circa 1730, painted with a Kauffahrtei scene depicting merchants and their wares by a quayside to one side, and figures with a donkey within a landscape to the other, within elaborate gilt cartouches embellished with purple and iron-red scrollwork, a spray of indianische Blumen within the interior, with a deep gilt scroll rim, 8cm diameter, crossed swords mark in underglaze-blue, gold letter P. and impressed .. to footrim for Johann Martin Kittel PROVENANCE: Private German collection.
