A MEISSEN TEABOWL, circa 1735, finely painted with detailed chinoiserie harbour scenes depicting figures and sailing ships, within gilt scrollwork cartouches filled with Böttger lustre and edged with iron-red and puce scrollwork, the interior with a bird perched on stylised rockwork, with a gilt scrollwork rim, 4.5cm high, crossed swords mark in blue, gold numeral 15., incised / inside the footrim PROVENANCE: Private German collection.
