A late 19^th century Anglo – Indian unmarked silver bowl, Lucknow circa 1900

Raj period, in the Cutch style, of rounded circular form upon a slightly spreading foot, with a scalloped rim. The body with chased decoration of foliate scrolls interspersed with birds, the front with a shield shape cartouche engraved with an initial C in bold script flourished.
