An early 20th century Anglo – Indian unmarked silver bowl, Lucknow circa 1900 by a ‘floral’ maker

Raj period, of decafoil lobed circular form, the sides with embossed decoration in ‘hunting pattern’ with scenes of tigers attacking elephants, wild boar, humans and scenes of other animals to the base, the upper section with more hunting scenes along with reclining figures, figures riding camels and elphants, oxon pulling wagons. The underside with a stamped makers sigil of circular floral motifs.
