Opaque pigments heightened with gold on paper, the vertical composition depicting the typical arrangement of the Todi Ragini, part of the Hindola Raga, featuring a female heroine playing the vina under a tree, her sole audience a female attendant and a young deer, the scene set within concentric decorative album page borders with vegetal motifs on crimson red and blue interspersed with rules of gold foil, the recto marked in red pencil as no. 2, 34.5cm x 23cm.
