An early 18th century German silver gilt traveling chalice, Nuremberg circa 1730 by Nicolaus Hieronymus Höfler (1660-1738, master 1681)
The hexafoil base with stepped mouldings, an inverted baluster stem with a rounded base bowl. Town mark, makers mark and assay scrape to bowl rim, town mark and makers mark NH conjoined in an oval to underside of foot.
