An early 20th century Anglo – Indian unmarked silver rose bowl, Kashmir circa 1920
Raj Period, of compressed globular form upon a tapering square foot with a bulbous rim. The body decorated with chased ‘shawl pattern’, the bulbous rim with vignettes chased with Kashmiri text in Perso-Arabic script. The top with a pull off flower grill, chased to resemble rope.
Height – 12 cm / 4.75 inches
Weight – 413 grams / 13.28 ozt
