The ivory field with overall diagonal rows of stylised multicoloured flowering vases flanked by delicate floral tendrils. In an ivory border similar design between light blue floral meander, arrowhead and plain stripes, approx: 219cm. x 135cm. Very good type, seldom found in the sales. Design is beautifully drawn with very good colour combination. Apart of very slight localized wear to the top pile, down to knot collar in few places, visible on close inspection, otherwise this rug has good pile and in general is in very good usable condition. Ends with short fringes. Selvages rebound, well done. Fine weave approx: 7 x 7 knots per sq. cm. Very attractive and good furnishing piece.
