A rare early 20th century Anglo – Indian silver tea caddy, Karachi circa 1920 by J. Manikrai
of cylindrical form with a rounded edge pull off lid with domed centre. The sides with arched panels of alternating chased foliage and animals in landscapes such as antelope, and a tiger. The lid with chased Cutch style decoration, the lid with a vacant cartouche to the centre. Marked underneath J. MANIKRAI, T95, KARACHI.
