A FINE 19TH CENTURY FRENCH CUT BRASS AND TORTOISESHELL INLAID BOULLE STYLE TABLE

in the Louis XV style, the top of scrolling outline, decorated throughout with premiere partie and contre-partie cut brass and tortoiseshell inlay on strapwork and foliage, the cabriole legs mounted with gilt bronze female caryatid mounts, the front with a frieze drawer with ormolu mask of Hercules wearing a lion pelt, an identical mount to the reverse of the table, the frieze drawer opening to reveal a sliding, gilt tooled Moroccan leather writing surface, the sides with classical female mask mounts,

150cm wide x 93cm deep x 77cm high

This lot is subject to CITES due to the tortoiseshell.
