A CHINESE FOUR-PANEL HARDSTONE-INLAID LACQUER SCREEN.

Each panel divided into two sections, the top inlaid in soapstone, mother of pearl and wood with couples in a fenced garden observed by birds perched on blooming branches and several lines of calligraphy, the lower sections inlaid with blossoms, the reverse similarly decorated and painted in colour lacquer with groups of Immortals and wildflowers, each panel 195.5 x 56cm.
