A late 19^th century Dutch 833 standard silver bachelor teapot, s'Gravenhage 1886 by J.M. Van Kempen & Zn (active 1858-1924)

Of inverted pear form upon a spreading circular foot, the leaf and bead capped C scroll handle fitted with ivory insulators opposite a shell capped curbed spout. The pull-off cavetto lid surmounted by detachable compressed knop final, (retaining nut deficient). Marked throughout.
