A late 19th / early 20th century Chinese Export silver mounted hardwood tray, Shanghai circa 1900 retailed Tuck Chang
Qing dynasty. Of oval form with a pierced openwork galleried edge of flowering prunus trees above a carved meander scroll border. The field centre with an applied oval boss with a vacant circular cartouche reserved with textured decoration. The twin handles modelled as shoots of bamboo, pinned to edge. Marked to each handle tip with retailer’s mark TC and artisan mark SHENG 声.
