Clipped typed fragment of a speech given by Churchill to the House of Commons in 1955 saying "On our homeward voyage from US and Canada in the first week of July last, I sent a personal and private telegram to Mr Molotov", with handwritten additions in Churchill's hand "During our latest Defence debate I made an intervention during the speech of the rhg Ebbw Vale which, though impromptu was correct and I believe not unhelpful. I should like, if the House will permit me, to tell the story more fully this afternoon", one page, irregularly but neatly trimmed along the lower margin, punch hole to top left corner; with a few handwritten lines on a "White House, Washington" marked envelope (2)
