Autograph draft in Churchill's hand featuring the names he was considering for the War Cabinet reshuffle following Chamberlain's resignation in September 1940, listing Sir Kingsley Wood as the Chancellor of the Exchequer and Ernest Bevin as the Minister of Labour and showing Eden and Halifax were both taken into consideration as Leader of the House of Lords and Foreign Secretary, one page, 4to, affixed onto blue-lined notepaper sheet with handwritten caption dating the draft September 28th-September 29th; with an autograph note by Churchill in blue pencil, one page, 4to, affixed onto blue-lined notepaper featuring on the reverse a page listing in pencil David Margesson's ideas on the reshuffle and captioned "Except for the Dominion's Office (which went to Cranborne) this was the form finally adopted".
